Pelicans, Chickens, Record-Breaking at 1am, and the perfect alcohol!

Good Day to you all, your blogging saviour has returned, slightly browner than before (yes I've finally tanned!), and completely overawed by the Caribbean!

I'll give you a small, general taste of the last 2 weeks, as my blogs will take a slightly different format over the next couple of weeks, as I'll do a blog from each of the islands visited, plus an update from the last blog (it will make sense once I've started!)

The last 2 weeks have been an amazing experience. We saw (and videoed) dolphins in Dominica, broke an Ocean Village record, met some minor celebrities and drank at least one cocktail per day. We've had tours where we have been sung to by our tour guide, tours where the sound of our tour guide making a cockrel and parrot noises signals our departure, and tours that have seen celebrities homes in the sunshine (slightly disappointed with Eddy Grant's place, but more of that at a later blog!), not to mention tours that have seen celebrity rehab centres, the Sandals Resort and Richard Bransons private island, and the one he's buying at the moment, and tours that have sent us deep into rainforests full of weird and wonderful creatures!

Temperatures went from a 'cool' 70 degrees when it rained, which it did three times, but as it was so warm, no one gets wet (brilliant!), to a gorgeous 90 degrees. We've had high seas in the atlantic, where we were fairly sure the lifeboats were coming out, and been soaked by the waves on a boat, whilst we searched for whales off the coast of Dominica (again, videoed, but slightly less entertaining than watching dolphins!).

We've seen some great entertainment on board the ship, including productions from the guy who does the War of the Worlds show around the world, cheesy singers and production shows to rival the west end, and comedians from the club scene in the UK.

Added to that, the duty free shops on board and on the islands helped us to give a few knockout blows to our credit cards, we ate far too much every night and put on a few extra pounds, and took about a million photographs, and it bodes well for the next few blogs on this site, so stay tuned!!!!!
