'And you'll be putting that where exactly?'

'Two posts in two days' I hear you cry! T'is true, but only as I don't want to leave you all in suspense from my previous post, for today was Judgement Day...well it was more Awkward Operation Day, but that doesn't sound as good!

Anyway I was booked in at the Alexandra Hospital for 8.45, and so we got there bright and breezy and waited in the waiting room (where else!) for about 5 mins before I was called in.

Now, at this stage I will point out that I shall leave all the gory bits to your weird and wonderful imagination (if not, google 'Flexible Cystoscopy' and find out for yourself, you sick bunnnies!), suffice to say that what I've been through today, I wouldn't want anyone to go through. As I have been told by many people, I am a brave little soldier! (all 'man down' jokes on a postcard to the usual address!)

Anyway the operation lasted a few minutes and I was out of the room fairly quickly, although ever since then I've been getting vivid flashbacks of various parts of the operation itself, so sleepless nights shall be on the cards for the next few weeks!

Anyway to the all-important results, and we did think that it would be a narrowing of some kind and indeed it was, however it is quite a serious one so I have been labelled 'Urgent', so hopefully I'll be sorted out fairly soon enough, which does mean an overnight stay in hospital and a week to recover, which of course will be spent blogging, as I am sure you'll want a blow by blow account!!

Anyway, until that point, I shall continue to blog seemingly aimless blogs for your delectation, so you have been warned, ttfn peeps!
