Ok, so I am definately NOT Jude Law!!

Hi all,

Good tidings to you all, my happy blogging elves, t'is your festive blog from your favourite bloggee!

Well the rest of the week was spent being generally ill (had Wednesday off as I was a walking headache!), and watching the clock at work, praying the week would end so Christmas would come quicker (ooooh I'm such a big kid!!)

As previously mentioned, we watched a couple of festive flicks over the weekend, and the good one (The Holiday) had Jude Law in it. Now, Jude and I haven't seen eye to eye on a number of things, but thats all ancient history since he publicly apologised for doing the Alfie remake (for those who didn't know Alfie was a remake, or thought that it was a good film a few years ago, you may leave this page now with best wishes for the festive season!). Anyway he has fully redeemed himself with The Holiday. Its a bit of a rom-com but with a alot of the mushyness that tends to ruin very decent rom-com's, taken out. Good cast too, with Kate Winslet, Jack Black and Cameron Diaz to boot, not to mention the living legend that is Eli Wallach, who has appeared in pretty much every film ever made!

Anyway, back to the story, and in the film, Judy (as I like to call him) has a couple of Christmassy scenes where he wears a big, posh, scarf. I normally wear a scarf to work, as its freezing on the station platforms (wouldn't wanna get a cold, would I!), but I'm not usually a social scarf-wearing beagle, so for the usualy Thursday jaunt to the pub, I thought I would wear my nice thick grey one, and looked quite dapper in it, I must say. Anyway, a good time was had by all as we sat in the nice restaraunt bit (away from the rabble), and we left at our normal time. Getting home, I went to take off my scarf....if I could find it........Oh Baubles!!

Dashing back to the pub, I was just in time to sneak in, grab my scarf (which had lodged itself under a chair leg), and wander out before they locked up for the night. I'm sure Jude never has this much trouble, he probably has 'people' to remind him to put his scarf on, but never mind, I'll get there one day!

Friday dragged like a Christmas b*tch, but no matter, because at 5pm it was officially Christmas, which was brilliant!!!!

The weekend was spent getting everything ready for Christmas day, doing the odd last minute check on food and getting pressies wrapped for the big day, inbetween watching villa thump Man City 1.1! We watched 'Happy Feet' last night, which was an absolute barnstormer of a film, not the normal, cuddly, funny film that you expect from an animation, but a thought-provoking film that had alot of laughs along the way, which was fantastic!

So thats about it from me, all thats left for me to say is have a very Merry Christmas, I hope Santa brings you everything you wanted. Have a great day and I'll speak to you soon.

Nobody gives a sh*t what films you watched up towards christmas day. You really are a boring 'mummys' boy with no friends and a perverse outlook on life. Before you try to be a smart arse and say "well you are reading my blog, so someone must give a sh*t" I would like to point out that I read it for my own amusement in order to laugh at, and not with you. Merry Christmas Andrew.
