'Titanic? Friends? Pingu?....THE CABLE GUY?!!!'

Greetings my hungover-yet-happy elves, t'is my final blog of the year, and a short one at that, as we're all rather busy as its New Years Eve.

Right so on with it and we'll start with Christmas Eve. We all trundled down to the Windermere for some pre-xmas drinkies and a bit of a laugh, which we had in fairly equal measure. I drove Gareth there and when we got there, the guys had already started playing a pictionary/name that film-hybrid (we're hardcore, we are!), which was good fun, especially when one of us got 'slightly' inebriated and started to have fairly wild guesses (as you can tell by my blog title!). Anyway we all left just before midnight and I dropped some of the guys back at their respective places, including the drunken one, which was as fun as it sounds!

Anyway who cares coz it was then Christmas Day, and Santa had been very good to me. Included in the various items that I had chosen in the preceeding months were a Simpsons and Shrek 3 DVD which are both brilliant, and loads of other things that I won't go into as it will take too much time! Christmas was a snotty affair in our family, as all 3 of us had varying stages of dreadful colds, so we didn't eat much, play much, or watch a great deal!! But a good time was had by all and its always nice to spend time with your family over xmas.

Boxing Day was spent trying to get the plastic wrapping off most of the pressies, which were almost as fun as the presents themselves, but the highlight for me was listening to the game of the season between villa and chelsea (4.4 incase you didn't hear the screams coming from our house!)

Thursday and Friday was spent back at work, and what a jolly lot we were too! The least said about that the better, and the weekend brought another victory for villa (against poor old steve bruce, ah bless, hehehe!) and a bit of time spent sorting our travel insurance out, getting a new tumble dryer and sorting out house insurance (told u we were hardcore!)

And on that abrupt note I shall leave you with good tidings for the new year, see you in 2008!
