'Woah, in the sunny Carribean sea...'
Well its 8 weeks to go till our cruise, and we're slowly but surely ticking off all the things we need to do before we go. One of the big ticks was booking the 'action ashore' adventures when we get to the various islands. We have played it fairly safe with the majority of the trips, as we want to see as much of the islands as we can in the time we are there, so we have booked trips where we will essentially go across each island and back again (with rum in tow!).
The possible major highlight for us will come in Dominica, where they filmed alot of the Pirates of the Carribean films, where we will be jumping on a boat and going dolphin and whale watching.
Now, this isn't an exact science, as lets face it, they can't just demand that they jump out of the water and come and say hello, like they do at those dreadful theme park places, so we are expecting to spend most of the 4 hours we are out there, just sitting around and waiting for something to happen, however its the experience we are after, and its the experience we will get.
This past week has been another fairly dull affair (yes I've been at work, how could you tell!), the only excitement coming these past few days when I received my new credit card (tick), as this is the only method of payment they will accept on board ship for anything you buy, apart from food (which is all free, woohoo!). I also received my new Civil Litigation course manual (tick), which I'm really looking forward to getting stuck into, as I would like to specialise in it when I qualify.
Finally a special mention to the now legendary Aston Villa team, who currently lie joint 4th in the league (yes we do, check the points out, see!). It is a scary time for villa fans at the moment, everything seems to be going just a little bit well for us, and the Londoners and media-types (who are one and the same) seem to like us all for it at the moment, so we shall enjoy it while it lasts, and while it lasts, we shall certainly enjoy it!
Tarrar-a-bit!
